I love the concept that it is 24/7. It wouldn't help me with speech recognition, but hearing alarms, phones ringing, things like that. Having been a hearing person for the majority of my life, those are the things I worry about now that I am deaf w/o a hearing aid.
When I have my CIs off at night, I use a tactile signaler which alerts me to the phone, doorbell and smoke detector.
