Wonderful tips..I will be using them shortly as my surgery is in 24 days. There was one thing I had thought about that I did not see in the list. Perhaps it is not a big deal, but I always try and think ahead. I plan on buying a medic alert bracelet to wear after surgery. Having a card or something to carry is ok, for most things, but what if you are in a (god forbid) car accident on the way home or a week later? The bracelet let's them know right away. Yes, I know that some implants can be worn during an mri, but there is a limit to the power of the machine in some cases...just a thought...
Anyway, I have copied all this useful info to word and am printing it out right now.
Thanks so much Hear Again!!
