I'm from Poland and I actually go to high school. In May '09 I'll finish HS and I'll write Polish exams a'la SAT. I never been in United States but I love this country and I would like there to study. I have a bilateral sensorineural hearing loss since birth and I use hearing aids. I know, my English is poorly so I want go to USA in order to learn English well. I would like to learn to TALK [not write on paper] in this language with hearing persons and ASL with deaf. I interested in travel and in life I would like to travel, so I need a good knowledge of English. I also want get to know the deaf culture...
I am a sport photographer, I want in the U.S. to go to soccer matches [and might even play in the school team? My dreams!] Its would give me experience on women's soccer. I am also a huge fan U.S. women's national soccer team [my YouTube page: YouTube - Martynnny's Channel ]

So I can say one thing: I am determined and I do everything to study. Impossible is nothing. But what should I do? Whether in the process of studies I can have courses English language and ASL? How can I join to university and how much is it studies? I am able to work as a photographer, I can work everywhere in order to earn for studies. Does the rest of deaf students that helped me?

Where I wanted to study? I thinked about the CSUN, about the academic program of geography. But this is probably the program for the hearing..

Sorry for so many questions, but I hope that you help me And sorry for my English and I hope you understand me.

Best regards,
Asia

Actually, Asia, any program in the U.S. is open to the deaf student. We simply make accommodations.

Good luck in the pursuit of your studies.
