VCR has nothing with analog OTA, both of them are separated, also VCR would still sell at store after Feb 17, 2009 until no one want buy it then VCR will be completely legacy, unless if you means digital OTA isn't compatible with VCR for record then okay, I understand how you feel.

Additional, I don't realize that TWC use Motorola HD receiver now, they previously use receiver from Scientific Atlanta, I'm formerly consumer at TWC when lived with parent in LA area.
