Asteroid or fire rain still kill your cable. They are very rare. I never heard of that.
Dish is best than cable for anywhere. You can watch dish during you are on roadtrip.

lol, got agree with you, rhr need seriously research more.
People can steal cable stuff, such as digital cable receiver when break in home, plus people can damage the cable cord and that cause neighbors to unable to receive cable until repaired, remember, if car hit cable pole then cable is outage, same with lightning.
