VCR has nothing to do with DTV transition. VCR is how you make a copy of what you're watching. Has nothing to do with how you get the signal to your house. DVR is another way to make a copy of what you're watching.

VCRs are going to be around for a long time. The technology is not completely dead yet. You can buy new VHS movies in most stores!
