No, VCR is no longer then people are angry becuase no more analog will no longer on feb 17, 2009, all Sony, JVC, Samsung will no longer VCR, they make new DVR (Digital Video Rrecond). they will use OTA, CableTV or CableTV CableCard all in one soon because DVR (motorlia, Moxi etc..) is now for only CableTV Company (Cox, Comcast, TWC,) are lousy, I like best Sony, JVC, Samsung etc.. for DVR support OTA without CableTV
