I'd say this once, I smoked far too much pot in my youth, and i wished i'd never smoked it at all simply because of back in the time when i was a mere teenager I was not mature enough to handle it and people did actually took advantage of my naivity.
I dont think many people are that mature given to the materialistc society in which we live - so it could partly explain why so many people have 'consequecial problems' as the aftermath of toking) but dont get me wrong its just was a 'harmless drug in low dosage but the underworld cult have it that you get taught to believe having more is alway better and so that's probably most of us overused it to a point which i dont think most of us actually used it safely.
Only for myself, I wished i never picked up that first joint. But that's life. any how I surivived.
However, Magic mushrooms and LSD is another story - far far more sinister shit, - dont EVER take it if you dont understand what's a psychotropic drug have in it for you, I had a really bad reaction to the last trip, all previous acid trip wasnt bad they werent so strong, but the last one i took it through the eye, so 4 mins to the brain instead 1 hr through oral/stomuch disgestion. It lasted 36 hours, and i had a real ride good and bad. mostly bad, and the bum down withdrawal was severe it lasted 6 month months was the worst until i started taking aropax (like prozac) just to stop the flashbacks, it took a further 2 months to cease the strong panics, then another 2 years to cease flashbacks and frequent (small but still not very comfortable) panics completely and i stayed on it for 5 years (WAY tooo long) for i had somehow developed dependence on the pills to counter severe panic attacks. Now I do not have panic attacks or depression in this day, all in the past now (whew).
So you could say i survived that one too, but fuck it was a long time. I guess i was one of the unlucky ones to get a bad reaction to it.
It can do severe irreversible brain damage - many heavy LSD users ended up in hospital care for life as they developed Korsakoff's Syndrome from severe/heavy drug use.

Some people will tell you that slow is good - and it may be, on some days - but I am here to tell you that fast is better. I've always believed this, in spite of the trouble it's caused me. Being shot out of a cannon will always be better than being squeezed out of a tube. That is why God made fast motorcycles.
