Cat is old now so he does bring baby rabbits. When he was young he brought adult ones. He once brought my husband a cardinal bird. He put it down at my husbands feet, and the cardinal got up and flew away unharmed!
He is 13 years old this summer, so he probably won't be a hunter much longer. I think he thinks he is bringing us food.
