Because I have experienced language development at a much earlier age than most Deaf, I have a greater appreciation toward the value of words (choices thereof).
C.A.R.T. allows me to receive more information than the sign language employed by those within the education system. My choice would be obvious.
The majority of deaf children are born into circumstances where language development is delayed. The subject would be better taught by a fluent interpreter (rare) but usually taught, as a better option against C.A.R.T., via sign language.
